New Client Navigator Program Available

 

In partnership with Yakima Valley Community Foundation and several community agencies, Wellness House is now offering Client Navigator Services to address the special needs of those with a cancer or life-challenging illness diagnosis. Our Client Navigator, Amy Zook, assists clients through resource referrals to help with co-payments, prescription drugs, health insurance, transportation, individual and family support and many other non-medical needs. If you or someone you know struggles with meeting their needs during treatment, please contact Amy Zook at amy@wellness-house.org or by calling 575-6686 weekdays between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Nuevas Hermanas Sobrevientes de Cáncer

El grupo ha regresado de nuevo gracias a la tienda de Target. Comensando el 6 de abril 2010. Cada primer martes a las 5:30 p.m. Eunice Koeppe, facilitara una clase sober la educación del cáncer. Gloria Aguirre, voluntaria de Yakima Valley Community College, y Gloria Romero facilitaran como voluntarias del grupo.  Si esta interesado en assistir puede llamar al numero 575-6686 de 11 a.m.-1 p.m. y pregunte por Gloria Aguirre.

El grupo se llevara acabo en el Wellness House, 210 S. 11th Avenue, Suite 40 in Yakima. 

Family and Friends Support has returned with a new day and time. 

Those facing cancer and their loved ones are invited to attend Family and Friends on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays at 11:00 a.m. Eunice Koeppe will facilitate the Cancer Education and Support group for both men and women who travel with their loved one along the cancer healing journey. The group will address questions and concerns along the road to healing and provide insight and advice on taking care of yourself, so that you may be there for your loved one. 

The group will be held at Wellness House, 210 S. 11th Avenue, Suite 40 in Yakima.
